I am glad we decided to take the Alhambra and Nasrid Palace Tour. Worth all the money. The booking process was straightforward, got priority access. Alejandro, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us the Whispering gallery of the Alhambra, which was so cool. The sound actually travels from one corner to another! Alhambra is more beautiful than in the photos, so you must see it for yourself. Worth visiting!
Fantastic Alhambra tour from Seville!
We took a day trip from Seville to see Alhambra, and it was totally with the money. We have seen so much, the organization was good. The whole trip was pleasant, the drive there and back was comfortable, a clean bus and a good driver. Took a lot of photos from good locations. Excellent trip with a great tour guide.

You already know to wear comfortable shoes, but here is the specific reason why: the Alhambra and the surrounding Albaicín neighborhood are paved with the traditional Andalusian paving technique – Empedrado Granadino. This technique uses smooth, rounded river stones set on edge, often arranged in geometric patterns. While beautiful, these polished stones are not the most comfortable to walk on. Leave the flat sandals, thin canvas sneakers, or wedges at the hotel. You need proper walking shoes with thick soles.

The tap water in Granada is famous for its exceptional quality, flowing straight from the snowmelt of the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains. You should absolutely bring a reusable water bottle, but you need to know where to fill it. The Alhambra is famous for its hundreds of historic, decorative water features. Do not drink from these. They are part of the ancient irrigation system and are not connected to the treated municipal water supply. To safely fill your bottle, look for the designated public drinking fountains (usually push-button spigots). You will find these regulated water stations near the Palace of Charles V and around the main entry pavilions.
